How to Find Relief for Grief & Trauma Symptoms When You Can't Trust Doctors Anymore
Discover my new guide that explains how to take control of your health without stepping foot in your doctor’s office.
I need to start with something that might feel uncomfortable to acknowledge, but I know many of you are living it.
In fact, this week’s post was inspired by many messages I received on this one question – it’s the elephant in the room no one is calling out:
If you lost your parent, partner, or someone you love to Covid vaccine injuries, hospital protocols that felt wrong, or pandemic decisions that still haunt you—the thought of walking into a doctor’s office might feel impossible or triggering. Or worse – downright creepy.
You might be experiencing:
Crushing exhaustion that won’t lift
Digestive issues that came out of nowhere
Sleep that never feels restorative
Muscle or joint pain that moves through your body
Hair falling out in clumps in the shower
Brain fog that makes simple tasks overwhelming
Or side effects from one of those Covid shots that are worsening
And when you do try to get help, you’re met with:
“Your labs are normal”
“It’s probably just stress”
“Have you tried exercising more?”
“Let me prescribe you an antidepressant … or another vaccine” Umm, no thanks.
They’re not wrong that it’s stress.
But they’re missing the bigger picture entirely.
It’s much more … and it can be complicated.
Your Body Isn’t Broken—It’s Responding to Loss and Betrayal.
What you’re experiencing is real. It’s not “all in your head.” It’s actually very much in your body—in your nervous system, your gut, your immune system, and your cellular memory.
When you experience profound loss and medical betrayal, your body enters a state of hypervigilance that’s incredibly difficult to escape. Your nervous system is stuck sending danger signals because:
1. You lost someone you love (which is traumatic enough).
2. The system that was supposed to protect them failed (which creates a rupture in your sense of safety).
3. You may have been gaslit, dismissed, or silenced when you questioned what happened (which compounds the trauma) or when you’ve tried to share your symptoms before, maybe even suggesting they were related to those Covid shots.
This isn’t regular grief. No, not at all – it’s much more.
This is grief wrapped in betrayal, anger, confusion, and a profound loss of trust in healthcare institutions that are supposed to help us.
And now? Your body is keeping the score.
So, the dilemma you’re faced with is this:
You Need Help, But Where Do You Turn?
Here’s what I hear from my clients constantly:
“I know I need to see a doctor, but I can’t make myself go.”
“What if they dismiss me again?”
“What if they want to put me on medications I don’t trust, or push me to take another Covid shot?”
“I feel like I’m falling apart, but I don’t know where it’s safe to get help.”
If this is you, please hear me:
You’re not being difficult.
You’re not being paranoid.
Your nervous system is protecting you the only way it knows how.
I want you to know you can begin healing, even without “fixing” your relationship with conventional medicine or circling in loops to find the right doctor.
I created my brand-new guide, When Grief & Trauma Make You Sick, specifically for people who are in this exact situation.
Because here’s the truth:
You can start addressing your symptoms right now, today, without stepping foot in your doctor’s office.
This guide will help you:
✓ Understand what’s actually happening in your body when grief and trauma make you physically sick (it’s not mysterious—it’s biology)
✓ Identify your unique symptom pattern so you know exactly where to focus your energy
✓ Begin a 7-day protocol using simple, proven practices that work with your nervous system to signal safety and begin healing
✓ Learn which symptoms require professional support—and what kind of providers might be safer alternatives to conventional care
✓ Get specific nutrition and lifestyle guidance that supports your body’s natural healing capacity
Why I Believe a Holistic Approach Matters More Than Ever
I want to be clear: I’m not anti-medicine. I’m pro-informed consent, patient autonomy, and healing that honors your whole experience.
For many of you, working with a conventional doctor right now might feel difficult or impossible. And that’s okay.
What you need is to work with one or more of the following people, maybe even alongside your family physician:
A functional medicine practitioner like a naturopath or integrated functional medicine physician who will run comprehensive labs and actually listen to your story, especially if you’ve got symptoms that are related to taking those Covid vaccines or you want to explore any causality.
A holistic grief coach or therapist trained in trauma (EMDR, somatic therapy) who understands medical trauma, and family trauma as well. Message me to see if we’re a fit.
An acupuncturist, registered massage therapist or Reiki/holistic provider who can help regulate your nervous system.
A community of people who understand what you’ve been through. Substack is a great platform for finding like-minded people, including awake doctors and healthcare providers who know the truth about Covid, those vaccines and the global debacle that changed lives forever. And many of them have detox protocols for those mRNA shots that are worth a try.
But before any of this, you need to understand what’s happening in your own body. You need to feel some relief. You need to know you’re not imagining your symptoms and you’re not crazy.
The Real Diagnosis Your Doctor Won’t Give You
Your symptoms aren’t separate, random problems. They’re your body’s intelligent response to overwhelm.
When you understand the connection between:
Your stuck nervous system → exhaustion and pain
Your disrupted gut-brain axis → digestive chaos and anxiety
Your suppressed immune system → catching every illness
You can begin to work with your body instead of feeling like it’s betraying you.
The guide includes:
A breakdown of the three systems most affected by grief and trauma
Simple daily practices that take 5-30 minutes
Gut-healing nutrition that actually makes sense
Environmental detox (because your body can’t process external toxins when it’s already overwhelmed)
A special section on hair loss after trauma (because it’s happening to so many of you and it’s terrifying. It happened to me too, and my hair has grown back!)
What this guide does not include: specific protocols for detoxing from the Covid mRNA shots - this is dependent on your symptoms and requires a customized approach (but message me if this is something you’re interested in trying).
You Deserve to Feel Well Again—Even in Grief
Now, I know you might be thinking: “But I don’t deserve to feel better when they’re gone.”
Or: “How can I heal when the people responsible haven’t been held accountable?”
Please hear me on this: Your healing doesn’t let anyone off the hook. Your healing doesn’t mean you’re “over it.” Your healing doesn’t dishonor your loved one’s memory.
Your healing means you have the energy to continue asking questions, demanding accountability, and showing up for others who need you.
Your healing means you’re not suffering with physical symptoms on top of your grief.
Your healing is not betrayal. It’s survival.
Start Today.
You don’t need permission to begin healing. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need to forgive anyone or “move on.”
You just need to take one small step toward feeling safe in your body again, and you do this by prioritizing You and what you need to feel better, right now.
My guide is designed to meet you exactly where you are—exhausted, heartbroken, angry, and maybe still not sure who or what to trust.
But you can trust your body’s capacity to heal when given the right support.
You can start small. You can start today.

P.S. If you’re reading this and thinking, “This is exactly what I’m going through”—please don’t wait. Your symptoms will likely get worse without intervention, not better. You deserve support, even if it looks different than you imagined. Even if you’re still angry. Even if you’re still in disbelief. Start where you are, today.
