My name is Karen Sibal. I’m a functional medicine certified health coach, an Ayurveda lifestyle instructor and author. I’m a mom, a daughter, a wife. I’m not the stereotypical Karen LOL, in fact, I’m quite the opposite. You’ll see that in my writings.
After many years of dealing with a chronic and debilitating autoimmune disorder, I got an incredible promotion. I became the proud CEO of my health: my mind, body and spirit. I’m a warrior who stands for medical freedom and I aim to inspire others to become their own health warriors too. It’s time to find our collective voices and speak up for the healthcare we deserve. I love using positive psychology teachings to heal the mind, body and spirit. I also love Ayurveda: the ancient form of mind-body medicine from India that can be traced back to over 5,000 years. My grandfather introduced me to Ayurveda, my mother has practiced it in some form or another and this ancient science is part of who I am. Ayurveda and functional medicine look at the root causes of illness and focus remedies - they don’t mask the symptoms with endless prescriptions for short-term, symptomatic relief. Ayurvedic wisdom combined with positive psychology can be used to heal at deep levels and achieve mind-body balance - and I’ll show you how with uplifting, practical tips in this newsletter.
